First impressions

Before unpacking the Free K4, I was a little skeptical about the use of this knife.

The Free K4 is supposed be a multitool with fewer functions than the usual multitools like on the Free P4 ? What's the point of this Free K4 ?

But from the unpacking and the first handling, the use is immediately obvious...

Classic multitools are ultra-functional tools with a knife blade.

While the Free K4 is a real "full size" knife with a selection of very useful tools !

The handle is made of steel to ensure maximum longevity. The grip is powerfull and solid. The knife is ideally placed in the palm.

The blade can be opened and closed with one hand.

As a professional knife, the Free K4 must be able to open in difficult situations.

I tested it from every angle, even with large working gloves, the opening is very easy.

The pocket clip is removable and perfectly holds the knife in place in the pants pocket.

Leatherman also thought about left-handers by offering the possibility of placing the pocket clip on both sides.

There is a hole in the handle to put a lanyard.

The tools are positioned at the top of the handle and are accessible at the touch of a thumb thanks to the new Free magnetic technology.
